Background

As a charity, coming up with innovative events that not only help raise funds and awareness but also capture the imagination of people is always a challenge. So when we were introduced to the Wildgoose App and Tech Platform, we knew we were onto a winner!

What did we do?

As part of this we worked with the Wildgoose platform to create a unique fundraising event - The Great St Albans Challenge - which was a huge success. Not only was it great fun for the 450 people who took part in 92 teams, the event also enabled us to raise over £8k for our charity. The awareness it created locally too was huge.

The launch of MAKE

With the launch of MAKE by Wildgoose, I can see that it will now be easier than ever to create unique fundraising events. The technology was simple to use for all ages and the game was really creative. The engagement from everyone who took part on the day was fabulous and we will definitely be looking to do this again next year and also explore how we can run smaller events during the year too.
